Born in Lian Nasugbu Batangas, on June 19, 1957. Dauther of Leonardo S. Mendoza and Carmen T. Mendoza, she is second chld in the family. Their eldest is Bernabe, and she has two more sisters named Emma and Paz the youngest.

Studied primary at Bonifacio Elementary School, as secondary at Arellano High School and she has taken only one year in Far Eastern University.She was married to Virgilio C. Amaro, Origin 07 Camarines Sur of Bicol Region. They have four kids, two boys and two girls.

She had been a government employee before as a clerk at Municipality of Silang under Vice Mayor's Office and at present, she is now at Provincial Administrator's office under Provincial Administrator Aristides "Amboy" Velazco. They had been a Residence and voters of Cavite since 1987.
